Green Corner Lanana 875mdpl is my favorite corner in Unhas. Even though it just a very small room behind the Civil Engineering Dept’s kiosk, with one personal computer that supported by Intel 4 processor, and an old ceiling fan on the roof, it always so relaxing to sit or lay down under it mango trees after attending a boredom class (and waiting for the next class). In this corner, we plan another adventure journey for the weekend and holiday, planning an expedition to the highest land, or to the darkest cave, or hanging to the extreme vertical cliff, or dive to the deepest blue ocean. To love Indonesia, we started it by loving the nature and the people. To go to the untouchable side of Indonesia without making any damage to its origin. Take nothing but picture, Leave nothing but footprint, Kill nothing but time.
Explore the world from here, and make your life More Than Just Life…Yep! Definitely! It says “God walk along with the super senior student”
This month, I felt like someone had rang a bell so close to my ears. The sound really loud, and getting louder and louder. I woke up from my sweet years of living my life in my campus. For these last four years, I’ve been living in a full of fun of being a college student. Hang out with friends, being involved in the student council, see the world from its people, diving in the deep blue sea, hike the highest land in the country, climb the hardest rocks in the vertical cliff, gone into the darkness cave underground, playing the hardest game in softball field, and so many lecture discussions. So addictive!
But this March, I’m doing my Co-Ops in INCO. A mining corporate, that located in the armpit of the south Sulawesi. There are 17 countries around the world that put together in one office. More than 200 people in the same place, same time and same purposes. The shocking fact about this co-ops is not about I’m joining in a big project, no I’m not talking about that. The most shocking fact is: there are so many young people that lead this project, and most of them are younger than me and had graduated from their campus 1 year ago! WTF! That when I started heard the bell, that was an alarm for me telling me that my time in this campus never lasting forever.
Being a super senior student really have its own benefits. Should I wake up now or should I just snooze the bell? Well, at least I would never walk alone, I know God will walk along with Me…
